I know I have posted a lot from Woot lately but they have had lots of tablet deals. This tablet is perfect if you can't decide on getting a Kindle or a colored display tablet.

The e-reader uses ePub formats as well as PDF. The color screen has Android 1.6 and will allow you to browse the web, play flash videos, and view many videos types. It will also be perfect to view all those scrapbooks you have just digitized.

Remember these Woot deals are only one day. If you missed it, check out the link below.

ViewSonic gTablet 10.1" Multi-touch Tablet for $249.99

It looks like Woot had way to many of the gTablet on hand. They are up again for an even lower price than before. I have heard that this tablet runs amazing once you give it Cyanogen Mod which puts it's version up to Android 2.3.

The Tablet Takeover

Do you wonder if these tablets are still a fad? Here is a chart about expected tablet percentage of the mobile computing market.

Cut the Rope on Android

Cut the Rope is a very fun game that takes speed and timing to be able to win. The game has been out on iPhone and iPad for sometime but is now available for free on Android through GetJar.

If you have not heard of GetJar it is online app store. If you go to www.getjar.com and search for Cut the Rope on your device you will be able to find it. You will need to make sure you go to Menu > Settings > Applications and check the box under unknown sources. Then go to GetJard and download the .apk file and install it on your device. Enjoy!

Woot Deal! Archos 7 Home Tablet (8GB)

Here is another tablet on Woot for you to grab. For $79.99 you get a Android 1.6 tablet. It has Wi-FI, Micro SD slot, 2 built in speakers, 7 hour viewing time, and a kick stand. This would be the perfect little device for browsing the web or having a collection of movies to watch on the go. The original price is $149.99 so this is a pretty good deal.

Sis years ago I saw a device that was just for watching media on the go. It was $400 for a 3" screen and 4GB of memory. I would say that we have come a long way in portable devices.

The Android Market does not come stock on this tablet. Other options would be to put the Amazon App Store on it or if you search YouTube you will find out how to install the Android Market. If you have any doubt about how awesome and amazing this tablet is you really need to check out this video because it is awesome and amazing!

Archos' G9 Tablets, with Android 3.1

Tablet after tablet it seems like they are the same specs. 16GB, 1GHz, Dual Core Processor, Wi-Fi. The Archos' G9 really stands out in this area. It has a 250 GB HDD, and a 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor, and optional 3G stick. One of my favorite features is kickstand. Start saving your pennies, this could be the one.

How to Galaxy Tab

This last week Samsung rolled out the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It runs Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) and is known to be the thinest and lightest tablet on the market.

When this was first announced it looked like just another tablet. Once the iPad 2 was announced Samsung reworked the design of the Galaxy Tab put it on the market very quickly.

Samsung has put together a few how to videos about getting started and basic navigation of the tablet. They are the perfect videos to watch if this is going to be your first tablet or Android device.

How to add a website shortcut on your iPad home screen

This video demonstrates how to add a web address shortcut on the iPad to your home screen. This makes it easy to go to any website just like an app.

Simply go to the website you would like to have on your home screen and press the share button next to the bookmark button. Once you press that press "Add to home screen". It will take a small snapshot of the page and let you enter a name for the shortcut.

Sometimes the webpage will have a pre-selected icon that will make it look really nice. If this is not the case you can zoom in on a certain part of the page and it will capture that area to give you a better view of what the page actually is.

How To Sync Your Google Account With Your iPad

If this is your first time setting up your iPad you can just click mail and exchange, but if you have another email account already syncing you can go to settings, Contacts Mail Calendar and then add account.

In the email spot type in your full Gmail or Google Account address. Leave the domain blank. Next type in your full email address, then password and then name the account. Click save and then the iPad will verify the account. A Server field will appear. In here type m.google.com. Once you click save you will know it is all correct if it will ask you which you would like to sync of the Contacts, Calendar, and Mail. Once you choose and click save at the top this is the final step.

Now if you change something on your iPad, when it is connected to Wi-Fi it will sync whatever has been changed. This is the best way to keep all your information in sync without having to use iTunes. This works if you change anything on on Google it will change it on your iPad.

The Official HP TouchPad Release Date!

July 1, 2011 will be the official release of the HP TouchPad Wi-Fi version in the US and then followed by many countries days after. The TouchPad will be available in a 16GB version for $499 and a 32GB version. This device is unique because of its WebOS operation system.

The tablet features true multi-tasking with the apps staying open in card views. You can easily swipe between apps and also swipe them up and away when you are not using them. Synergy is a main function of WebOS that takes all your information and pulls it together. If you have a Gmail contact and Facebook contact that are the same, it will find them and match them together.

The TouchPad will also work well with other WebOS devices allowing you to take text messages from the tablet and even answer voice calls.

HP also plans to team up with AT&T to release a connected version later this summer.

iChromy: A Google Chrome Based App For iPad

iChromy for iPad is a really great app. It has a few features that makes me feel right at home. Chrome is the main browser that I use. Safari misses some things and iChromy makes up for those.

After spending just a few minutes with it here are the features I really enjoyed. From the very first time you open the app it feels like you are in Chrome. It has tabbed browser which is a must on any modern day browser. It also has the star in the top right corner that allows you to easily bookmark pages.

Ode to Chad's iPad

This is Chad's iPad
He did not think it was a fad
Protected it with ZAGG
It fit very well in a bag
At work it brought him joy
As if he was a little boy
He put his boy in the car
Placing the iPad on top but not far
To his destination her arrived
At that moment he almost cried
Tracing back his drive
The iPad looked still alive
Leaping into traffic was his desire
Right before it was run over by a tire.

Steve Jobs Presents New Office

If you think your day job is just another job in another building it probably is, unless you work for Apple. Yesterday Steve Jobs presented a new office building to hold 12,000 employees in Cupertino. Steve is definitely the creator or jobs. This building will not just be the only location for Apple but it will be an addition too an existing office which will continue to hold 8,000 employees.

Now if you didn't know, Steve Jobs is the CEO of Apple Inc. and Apple is the creator of the iMac, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, iPod Touch, iPhone, and the iPad. It looks like the Cupertino City Council is pretty star struck and to much in love to give any opposing vote.
